1) Use whole as is in curies?. Add it at the beginning
2) Add whole to boil ups when u add the other spices
3) Roast in a pan on low heat till u can smell the pepper. Remove from heat and grind to a powder. Use as a powder
4) Put in a pepper mill and crust to season your food as required
